this is gonna be a rather wordy post. recap back on what i've done last week. booked out on thursday 050309, went to jol's school on friday for lunch after my appointment with the podiatrist at CGH. it's the A levels results release date as well. so anybody could just walk about in dunman high freely. haha, ever since dunman moved back to the tanjong rhu campus, its the first time i've been there. saw a couple of jol's frens and all.. after getting results, some were happy, some were sad, guess its kinda expected.

saturday was busy, went SMU with jol to check out on university admissions and to attend some talks. missed a few talks coz we couldn't navigate ourself well around the place.. kinda dumb.. lol, but still managed to listen to the law talk. after the SMU open house, went over the Suntec for the Career Fair, picked up a few brochures for the foreign universities, met leon, had alittle coffee break at starbucks, and james whipped by to pick us up for dinner/supper over at old airport road. gathered with them and had a hearty chat, catching up with frens are always enjoyable.. afterwhich went back home and sleep! tiring day...

sunday, went over to new house to check out on the renovations.. took some photos, but kinda lazy to upload though.. the entire house is in a mess, walls are painted, cables are laid, some other places to be touched up on only.. will upload the photos when i feel like it.. ha, den after which is booking in on sunday night..

In regards to the A levels results, my Platoon's own Sections' results were not bad, a couple having 3,4,5 distinctions. Grats to RuiHeng for getting 5 Distinctions, which include H3 subjects. gosh, really intellectual people around me... and also special congrats to wong yong jin from section 4 for getting perfect scores: 8 or 9 distinctions, 13/13 AUs / credits worthed of subjects, with 2 H3 subjects and the remaining all distinctions.. wth right... haha... Ulysses company has got singapore's top students for the A levels. not forgetting the other RJC top student from Ulysses Company Platoon 2 or 3, Soh Ming Quan, who got like 8 or 9 distinctions for A levels as well.. Even Shawn Lee Chuang Rui from Ulysses Company Platoon 4 (yes, the I'm Not Stupid actor), scored 4 As 3 Bs for his A Levels. if interested, can click here and here to read more about their achievements in the A levels. seriously, how much more intellectual can these people go?... ha.

alrite, and after one day of booking in, here i am booked out already, BMT's officially over for me.. at least for now.. i guess... what to look forward to in the coming days? pray for a good unit, (not back in tekong), a rather slack one.. so i could at least spend more time with the original life i had...

and most importantly, to spend more time with YOU... =/ good nites...

hmm, today's the first day of the IT show.... accompanied my bestie, ky to check it out, to look out for good buys, and also to check out on my friends who're working there. =D walked around for awhile. happened to meet a couple of my section mates at the fair as well. bought some stuff at the razer booth together even. HAHA, it was a steal! i bought a Razer Lachesis Gaming Mouse for $125! $4 off the retail price, and on top of that, the sales rep even threw in a Razer T-Shirt and Razer Goliathus Speed Mousepad. of course its coz we bought quite alot together, think qihua got himself a Razer Lycosa Keyboard, Razer Diamondback 3G Gaming Mouse, etc, and ky got herself a Razer Pink Pro Click Bluetooth mouse, which came with the Razer Goliathus Speed Mousepad as well. haha, what a steal! nothing much more worthed grabbing though..

spent quite some time over at the IT show looking around, and its really crowded! looks like the recent economy recession didn't affect the local consumers that much afterall. news reported that this IT show is expected to bring in S$55 Million in revenue. Serious? haha, i don't know for sure.

alrite, walked around for awhile, and settled for dinner over at Le Baroque, in Chijmes.. Ordered BBQ Pork Ribs, Linguini Lobster, complete with Marqués de Cáceres red wine to go with it. there'll be a live band at 10pm here too..

after the very filling dinner, and the wine, and the music too, i was feeling kinda.. giddy?! i was sick to begin with actually.. and must be coz i gulp down the wine abit too hastily.. and wasn't feeling really good... nauseous and headache already... one glass only ?! guess i really can't hold my liquor well.. haha.. went toilet to wash my face, and left the place, needed a walk to refresh myself i guess...

walked over the bugis to get a cab home, but needed to sit down to rest for awhile...

so, a very nice ky decided to make sure i get home safely.. lol, felt like a small little boy.. not the first time she's sending me home already.. so off we went on cab home lo... even had to standby the plastic bag for me to vomit in case i couldn't take it.. lols.. -.- gosh.. thanks girl, for sending me home!

so tiring... got home, first thing i did? was to puke... gosh.. when was the last time i felt like this already.. didn't feel too good, sick + nauseous = very painfully disgusting.. felt a damn splitting headache, like as if i've got a super high fever... so after bathing, off to bed i went... :S

heh, yes kieyin's my bestie. there's probably a 100 reasons why we never got together as a couple. haha ~ but one thing's for sure, we'll always be best and close friends, right? (:

went out to the IT show again, this time with jol. meeting leon james and bob to check out some other good steals of the show.. bought the 250GB 2.5" hdd for geokleong thats all.

actually is jol who wanted to go suntec, to check out the burberry and body shop fair... ha... well... went to the show, looked around, find all our friends all over the place at the IT fair, and eventually went for dinner over at food court.. only me and bob ate the food court stuff. the rest had subway for dinner.. lol.. james' subway meal costs $17. wth ?...

finally booked out! end of live range + field camp week! kinda got injured during 1st day of field camp already. dots... carried on with 2nd day, tried my best and tahan, but couldn't take it, my back was killing me. went to see MO that night, and 2lt joan excused me from the remaining field camp.. my back's injured =/ oh wells, wad a draggy week to pass.. gladly after this week, there's nothing much left for bmt already. what's remaining is the stupid discovery centre visit for the NE (National Education) lessons on 3rd of March, and the School Games Day happening on the 5th of March. In between are the Recruits' Evening happening on both nights of 4th and 5th of March. After which 10th of March will be my confirmed POC date. As I'm PES C, i won't have a POP. Doesnt have much difference to me, after all NS is only something i want to clear asap. 1 Year 10 Months left after POC!... Damn long way to go. Alrite book out lo!~

went to wheelock borders today to shop for books with jol, uncle zohn and his daughter abigail! finally found "The Brothers Karamazov", bought the book at first instinct! =D weee. happy. After which went to eat dinner at food republic, which we spent $38 for 4 persons for dinner there. wth lor, food republic stuff are freakin ex. and the stuff are "best" in the world, ever. period, never eat from there anymore. SAF Cookhouse tastes better.

after which, was supposed to meet up with jol' frens, jiamin and the girls from netball i presume. And chill at balcony. (wth not again?!) but eventually it was called off, probably coz it was kinda late or something. No idea wad happened, but heck, didn't meet them, so jol suggested watching movie, but when we reached cine, there wasn't any slots, wanted to move on to lido, but as we were walking there, it started pouring rain.. and eventually we were stuck at paragon.. dang... chilled inside there, listened to the live band over there, kinda cool, but the vocalist kinda sucked. oh well, i couldn't sing any better either. haha, hecks. took some photos.. appreciate them! i seldom upload photos/blog lately. alrites though i know i look like a fashion disaster! but, hecks, since i don't look really good even if i dress up myself. whateva le lar ~ hahas.

nxt up is C. oh gosh, u landed urself in quite a predicament.. i didn't haf a good feeling bout that guy all along... and now shit really happened... gosh, can't console u enough, coz i'm not u.. but i'm able to feel how u feel... damn jia lat.. i feel hurt for u also, coz this guy is so not worthed it.. u gave in so much, yet he's juz like a jerk, an asshole... like i told u before, this guy isn't able to give u a regular relationship like u've tot he would... he would juz hurt u over and over again... enough of chances, he's seems to taken charge of ur life instead... why let it carry on being like this... the only one thing i can't tolerate is that, he calls u his gf, but when u msg him, he can tell u not to sms him as he's with his other gf.. wth is this man... this isn't part of a regular relationship... gosh... can't believe its been quite long somemore... please... get a hold of urself, and realise that this guy isn't all u need... u need to pull through this, and grow stronger. and i believe u could do so. so don't forget what u've promised me, and get out of this, and grow out to be a stronger, better, girl. this guy isnt serious about u at all.. u even know about it... the cookies, the pig, etc, all just give it to him, and forget bout it all... forget about the lies that he told u before, and just leave him... forget bout all the threatenings, and all the things that were so negative... he's just not worthed it!

lastly, its You. you know its you. i don't know whats going on now between us. its been stagnant. we're just hanging there like not advancing. so much time has passed.. we didn't get the time to meet each other, no time to talk often even.. i'm in army, while u juz finished ur exams... during army, i could only sms/call at nights.. specifically during the 9.30pm-10.30pm period, whereby i had admin time.. else, i couldn't really talk to u.. i did try my best to contact u whenever i had free time... but still, time factor really affected alot...but still, i don't know what u're feeling... its been like... so long ler... i know u've got problems of ur own also.. u can't go out and all etc, its okay, i understand and i know de... but.. i juz hoped something better would happen soon... i'll finally get my 2 weeks break after my POC on 10th of March. i juz hoped, everything would be better for us... what's gonna happen between us?.... i'm still wondering...

NS has turned my life upside down inside out. It's a complete waste of my time for some reason i don't know why. Ceased my other operations, and also caused trouble for a couple of other stuff. Damn retarded. Have been doing crap in there also, excuse this excuse that, everything also cannot do. wtf man, area cleaning whole day, stand by bed, stand by area, clean rifle when haven't even got to shoot at all, etc etc.. Though my platoon is already not bad, our sergeants are considered humans. The other platoons are treated like dogs, responding only to commands given by the so called sergeants which are like the owners. I bet it won't be long till i say, woof woof too. Totally just like dogs. NS is a place to get commanded, and you LL have to listen to commands and respond to them. If not? Punishment lo...

Either ways, its a lose lose situation for me no doubt out there in mainland or in there in tekong. Life's totally screwed. Everything's changed... There seems to be no way in returning back to how it was. And it only made the feelings between us even more fucked up.. Everything changed, I bet your feelings too.

Nuff said, booking in another 3hrs plus. Totally demoralising. Next week is live range + field camp + BIC week. Yet another boring + busy week. NS is Crap.

alrites, went quite a couple of places to 拜年. Quite a busy day, kinda dumb that i woke up at 12pm liddat today?! omg, lol coz i kinda 守岁 till like 6.50am this morning. well, its the “一夜连双岁，五更分二年” night of the year afterall, its stated that 年长者守岁为“辞旧岁”，有珍爱光阴的意思；年轻人守岁，是为延长父母寿命. so i must 守 till as late as i can! because i love my mummy and ahma too. they're the only ones who will not leave me alone if the whole world does. (:

okies, 拜年 is pretty straightforward, no need to elaborate how i did that. lol, collect as many 红包 can ler. hmm, went to teck whye too to 1st Aunt's place. as py's place is just a block away, so went over to 拜年 to uncle and auntie too. 顺便 pass her all those stuff she left at my place. its the first time i'm at their place since they moved. haha, can see that they're still as happy as ever, their family seem to have a happy life (: py's bro and wife seems to have moved back to stay with the family too. hees, bustling now. used to go over to her place quite often last time when it was still at jurong..

hees, after which, yh came over to meet me too, coz he lives at that area now. LOL?! and its freakin near too, juz a street away, so met under the void deck of my 1st Aunt's block, went over to mac, with my sis and jelyn tagging along. we all know yh very well. haha ! den ate alittle stuff, and its getting late already.. met my mummy and ahma back at the void deck, and yh 拜年 with my ahma and mummy. they quite 疼 yh coz he always comes over to my place. hees..

after which is HOME. rest needed. 2 days later is NS ler. heh, brings new surprises eh.. but i can't enter without completing anything undone, or i'll have no chance to do anymore... or maybe......... i can ?...

this is my all time favourite granny of the lifetime. where else could u find one granny who's so sporty, cute, adorable, cuddly, caring, good chef, soft spoken, kind, pretty, and loving! i totally adore her. she's aging le, and yet i won't be able to pei her as much as i am now =/ i'll miss her alot when i'm in NS.

this is my mummy, been with me since i'm bornt. though we might quarrel alittle at times, but still, i love her and i cherish her. i promise i'll do my best in whatever i'm doing to not let her down. she's always been there for me when i needed someone. and she's really a fantastic lady, a hardworking one, and a clever one too. i'll definitely miss her dearly when i'm away.

and nonetheless, its my sister. she's always been there to help when i needed, and she's a clever girl too. even though we quarrel at times, but we're still counted as the ideal bro-sis partner. seen as almost the most perfect set of bro and sis combination, and having organised multiple successful events, such as BBQs at my place, the massive christmas party at my place in 2005, birthday parties, poolside parties, even my most latest birthday party. we would confide in almost everything. thanks for everything u've done for/with me. i'll definitely miss u all when i'm in there.

hmm... met ek and xz at clark quay yesterday nite, had bah gut teh for dinner, afterwhich went over to chinatown with them to do some new year grocery-ing. (no such word i know.) actually tot today could meet HER de. den end up, didnt manage to. disappointing. but not an obligation i know. so after which went to sit along the riverside at clark quay for awhile of chat with them.. till like 11.45pm, and took last bus home..

actually was scheduled to meet py today 5+ at far east to return her the stuff she left at my place the other day. and to accompany her do some last minute CNY shopping. those stuff namely her camera charger and 2 bangles, which she forgot to take back. its been lying in my house for like damn long liao. wonder how she survive with a batt-less camera for so long.. BUT however, due to some unforseen circumstances, didnt manage to meet up coz i had to cut hair, (its a taboo to cut botak on the last day of the lunar year, according to uncle eric and mummy), so i LL haf to listen. and went to cut botak. and ya, it was cooling, (the new hair i mean), but no style at all, so.. fugly, wtf.

nvms, tomorrow actually had a few requests to go out, but i already agreed ky earlier this afternoon to meet her for tomorrow ler. to do some last minute shopping also. till new year ler still haven completed CNY shopping. so jia lat.. dots. mayb will need to find some new skirts to go with her tubes and tops. the "feminine feminine".

i think. it was the last day of my 7 day 1 for 1 exchange for my newly bought asus dvd burner... freddie took back my box the other day and i had to meet him today at simlim to retrieve the box with the warranty and reciept in it to get an exchange. the dvd burner is not working. ;(

went bugis to meet freddie, but before i met him, guess who i met.

yes, its misty. lol, so coincidental. alrite, mayb not. haha. she was shopping for new year stuff wif her mummy. and she juz went for full face threading. muahahah, means, no makeup! lols, just nice we were at the same area.

alrites, after that went to exchange the dvd burner and walked around simlim with freddie for awhile.. before slacking at bugis street, and walking around aimlessly. then deciding to go home.. ate a coconut at the bugis street entrance. it costed me S$2.50, total rip off, (and the coconut didn't taste good either). imagine i ate the same sized thing for only THB$20, which amounts to only S$0.85, (SGD$1 = THB$23.55). dang... we're in SG, we're in SG, we're in SG, we're in SG.....

alrite, went home by BUS at the end of the day, super peak hour, and the bus was freakin crowded. i became a leaning pole for the whole trip. with 2 girls sandwiching me from the back and front in an extremely awkward position.. but can't do anything bout it, had to struggle with sms-ing too. duh.. public transport. no choice...

o.O last minute outing with the girl! rofl, msn-ed me at 5PM to go out for dinner! met her at orchard, near wisma atria there at 7pm+, our initial meeting time was 6.30pm. but due to my inability of taking public transport to town efficiently, i alighted one stop earlier, and had to walk quite a distance. zzz hungry le, ate at the 中环茶餐厅 in wisma. hmm, not a bad dinner afterall.

spent quite some time reminiscing about our past secondary school life.. guess we all miss that kinda sort of carefree and childish lifestyle ba. hahas..

which i suddenly remember, i did enjoy my part of childhood back at JSS. with my class, my teachers, my friends, my basketball, my old house. remembering the times where my house was abused as a chalet. with friends coming back ever so often, the overnite stays, table tennis at my living room, 3 person playing stupid bomberman on my computer at the same time (a super squeezy result), literally a gambling den after school (blackjack, poker, mahjong, etc etc) and lots of other crazy moments. that's to the extend of the abuse of my house last time. hahas! after i moved to the east side, i think i did miss that kind of secondary madness. oh yea, enough of those past silly stuff, talking bout the rendevous with her! hahahas.. digressssssss.

hahas, alrite, after dinner, walked around, and she bought this top from pull and bear, quite nice i guess. she's so tall that i think she wear anything also should be quite nice de ba.. ha... went to catch this movie called "Max Payne". omg it was horribl! a waste of monies. perhaps we just didn't get the entire show at all. didn't even know wad the reason was behind many things, and some parts were rather confusing. at the end of the show, i could even hear people seated behind me cursing and swearing about the show. rofl.. after which it was like 11.45pm ler...

haf to catch last bus home! if not, means cab le. but to our horror, both our last bus haf departed le.. lol... -.- kinda screwed. so end up have to take cab home... no choice le.. so ya... ha.. off we went home le!

went over to lor stangee to check out the new house. its done le, now waiting for interior renovations only.. ha, estimate should take approx another 1-2months then can move in le... hmmm but i'll be in army.. gosh.. so sad...

Finally a update on the thailand trip. Actually wanted to post right immediately after i returned, but there was simply too many things to work on, and i had a diarrhoea for 7 continuous days when i'm back in singapore.. =/ food contamination, or what they call, the "bangkok belly" (BB), or "thailand tummy" (TT) xz says. lol.. anyways, here're the pictures that we took, and some interesting trip we had..!
