juz watched finished the World Cup Germany 2006 Finals LIVE on Channel 5... i don't have SCV so i can't watch the world cup channels... oh well... its the same... Italy VS France... actually i watched 1 half late... (meaning i watched only from 2nd half onwards).. was playing dota wif TC, ceed, bobo and some other lancraft chaps... hmm wun be elaborating on dota.. more on worldcup! and the match is over now ... disappointing full time score of 1 - 1... which means its a draw... after multiple speculations, the expected score line was supposed to be 2 - 1, favouring either Italy or France.. (i personally look up on France, but disappointed nevertheless).. but its 1 - 1.. this means, its gonna go into EXTRA TIME. okies during extra time, zidane had a perfect chance of heading his way in, but Italy's keeper Buffon does a great save keeping the ball out of his own net.. awww... >.< and i thought that was gonna make it for France.. but, applauds Buffon on that great save... hmm... France had plenty of attacking chances in the second half... (i repeat, i didn't watch first half... but the score was already 1 - 1 in first half till the end of the match). Towards the end, Zinedine Zidane LOST IT... he gone bonkers of something... he delivered a vicious HEADBUTT into marco's CHEST, knocking him out for 10 seconds onto the floor.. and the reason??... Marco hugged him when he didnt haf the ball... not a good reason?... mayb Zidane did that to show that he is straight... god who knows... -.-! he was sent off the field... and Zidane NEVER APPEARED anywhere NEAR THE FIELD AGAIN IN THE REST OF THE MATCH, even till the end when the France players ascended the podium to recieve their Silver Medals..

oh well... Referee blew the whistle at 120mins, signalling an end to the 2 periods of extra time.. This world cup finals will be determined on penalties! Barthez looked alittle worried, perhaps worrying his height might get him into trouble in the penalty shootout.. Italy remained calm and steady.. France substitute Trezeguet made a mistake in the 2nd shot and i believe, caused France the world cup (damned!). all 5 spot takers for Italy shot the ball across Barthez into the net with 100% accuracy though. therefore the penalty score was 5 - 3.. Italy won on penalties... classic match.. totally classic... As Italy's defender Grosso scored in the winning goal, all Italy fans, managers, players burst out in esctatic joy, cheers of happiness filled up the whole stadium... not excluding tears of disappointment in the eyes of the France team... Italy are the newly crown Fifa World Cup 2006 Germany Champions. Their 4th championship victory since 1938. congrats to them...

And that marks the end of the Fifa World Cup 2006 Event and in case u wana know where's the next Fifa World Cup going to be held at? No doubt about it, its South-Africa!... Look forward to Ghana or Togo going to win next championship!! lolsss... with that, till the next Fifa World Cup 2010 South-Africa..... (even though i'm disappointed in France T_T...) alrite.. time to sleep... tml's CRS GG-fied....! good nights .... ^^
