OKAYS! I've changed blogskin. muahahaha, now's a much simpler blogskin ler. =D I didn't change anything to the blog, just a few edits, so the credits will all remain now. Kudos to the blog designer came up with such a simple blogskin that I fancy. xD
I'm just home not long, bathed and preparing to sleep. LOL its 8.48am -.- Alrites, i'm juz back from St. James PowerStation from the NUS event, FLUX.
Apparently its a "Gala de Estrella", or you rather, NUS Science Pageant 2008. So the norm, 10 participants, 5 guys, and 5 girls.. So basically its a pageant. lol, pardon the repeatition, falling asleep le.
So yea, met CJ 8pm at Vivo, went over to PowerStation and waited for the rest to come. Went in and got some good seats, so the pageant starts. Nothing much about the pageant to talk about though. Hees, though the emcees were really good. =D But well, it was clubbing for THE NITE! muahahah, lets see, a good o 8 months since i last clubbed? or was it even longer.. I can't even recall for goodness sake! Well, go there once in a while to de stress seems to be a good idea anyways. Since I've got my Internship over and done with, so I'm still considered quite free to slack ba.Overall the music was.. Kinda lousy. Partially coz the DJ seems to be quite old, the music were old, those old music... (Move Bitch, Hips Don't Lie, Wateva, Lean Back, etc) wth, reminds of 1 and a half year ago when I first entered clubs? Can say SUPER Retro lor.. Well, those were the familiar songs that got us high though.. Lol, the newer club hits seem to all come from Sean Paul, Daddy Yankee, Fat Man Scoop, all the usual shouting, raps, lots of words, nothing much to dance about. Needless to say, the DJ didn't even spun a single deck. All he did was listen to head phone awhile, and went out of the DJ booth, and returned to check on the playlist, and went out again. I think, he set a standard playlist to keep on repeating. (As some songs were heard more than once, appears that he must have shuffled the songs after all were played at least once.) Okays, enough about the groaning about that DJ, whom I don't even know the name of. Andrew Chow is WAAAAAY better over at Phuture. Mayb St James can engage our good O Chalk? Who's at I dunoe where advancing his DJ techniques. Okays back to the club. lol. BORING YOU WITH THIS POST. Read on dude/or girl.Alrites, clubbing clubbing. What else, dancing? I danced like a noob throughout though, thats wad I normally do.. Oh, forgot to introduce the people that were there. There were Bobo and his friends, Daniel, ChongJun, Weekwang (wtf? can buy 4D today liao) and lastly, yours truly. Took one Tequila shot first thing. Gotta get used to the place. Ordered a JUG of Long Island to share with Daniel ChongJun and Kwang. Well, there's not alot of people, but managed to get a small gathering though. Chongjun met a friend over there, I think is called Joycelyn or something.. Daniel met his elder brother there, not pre-arranged, even cooler. Wee Kwang also saw his friend there. Bobo, needless to say, his friends were from NUS. As for me, perhaps a small friend ba, met Iris over there, she was a showgirl previous from Sony Cameras. So yea, thats not important. Dance dance, 2 girls came over to chit chat, and ask about CJ's friend, Joycelyn. Coz apparently some i-dunoe-wad problems hit her, and she was furious on the dance floor. Should be something regarding her ex-bf or wad de.. Not very close to her. So those 2 girls talk talk, and made friends with us, Daniel took one of their numbers, and I didn't take any. Getting numbers from strangers at club isn't my forte you see. lol, I very guai wan. HA! Saw CJ's friends, mushroom head and mohawk there too. They're really super active guys okay. At once, see them grinding some girl here, another moment, they're getting numbers from another girl over there. lol, and mushroom head got a nice frag too, she was hugging and lying on him on the dance floor for a whole 20 odd mins ba i reckon. Never really observed the timing. eh dun get wrong idea, i'm not jealous. coz I didn't really fancy the girl. Though she was dancing in the middle of me and bobo for quite some time. We didn't really wana hit on her. Daniel came and fend me from her and took over. lol. think she's lonely... Dancing alone for very long le... so mushroom head came over, and did what he's best at. He got a drink treat from the girl, and that ended le. HA! Slacked at Harbourfront MAC with Daniel and Kwang till daybreak to take public transport. CJ and Bobo took CAB home at 4am and 4.20am respectively. NO CHOICE, NEVER DRIVE. drank abit alcohol also ma. ha... alrites, so that's it, nothing much, crowd's not really good, never saw any friends there also, mayb coz too long never club, never make enough frens also. Those people all I dunoe who de.. dots... Mayb nxt time must jio more people to club. Hees. =D
